The R&D teams of the Group research and test continuously new initiatives and ideas received from customers. In  the case of several wood products Koskisen has special know-how that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. As examples we can mention the world’s thinnest plywood product, 0,4 mm thin plywood and the world’s largest seamless plywood board, a giant as large as 1.900 x 4.000 mm.

Our professional, trained staff are in charge of the quality of our products. Every third employee is a qualified master craftsman or journeyman. Our goal is that all our employees have at least a basic degree in the wood products industry.

In addition our production technology and production control has been tuned to the maximum. Koskisen’s operational system is based on the ISO 9001 quality system and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and security certificates. In addition to these, Koskisen construction boards, roof trusses and strength graded timber are CE marked.

Koskisen’s products are manufactured with modern, efficient, computer-operated production lines whose productivity is actively developed.  Each year separate machines or full production lines are renewed. The comprehensive quality control of our production processes is based on the latest ultrasound, infrared and camera technologies. You can always rely on the quality of Koskisen products.
