Easily workable and tough wood for wall frames

Wood is a suitable material for wall structures, panelling and surface materials. Uncoated chipboard is suitable for the inside surfaces of partition and outer walls, and, for example, sawn timber can be used for deeper wall structures.

Sawn and planed timber

Both spruce and pine, with either sawn or planed surfaces, make excellent choices for walls. For load-bearing walls we supply sawn timber stregth-graded by machine (C18, C24, C30) and dimensioned and CE marked. Koskisen's product range also includes cut-to-size components for the construction joinery industry.

Chipboard

Chipboard is a good choice for interior cladding of surfaces to be painted or wall-papered.

Benefits of using chipboard for walls:

  • quick installation and easy to machine
  • a uniform and solid surface
  • easy to attach even heavy objects to firmly
  • strength of the material is constant along its entire plane
  • good sound insulation
  • environmentally friendly

Koskisen offers you a range of chipboard in different lengths, thicknesses, colours, wood patterns and surface features.
