Strong and safe roof trusses

Roof trusses are used as the load-bearing strcucture in the roofs of detached houses, row-houses and blocks of flats, storage buildings, cow barns etc. Koskisen’s roof trusses are manufactured under the Ministry of the Environment-approved quality control system. Planed, strength-graded Finnish wood is used in the manufacturing of the roof trusses. Customer-specific roof truss plans by Koskisen’s professional designers are always part of the delivery. Modern, accepted and controlled design software is used in designing and strength calculations. The design pictures are transferred directly to the sawmill’s computer from the designer’s machine.

Production

The spruce used in the manufacturing of Koskisen’s roof trusses has a moisture level of 20%. The sawn timber is dimensioned by planing. The connector plates are Rautaruukki’s hot-dip zinc coated structural steel S 350 GD+Z 275 MA, 1.3 mm thick sheets. The newest processing, grading and pressing equipment is used in the manufacture of roof trusses. Each roof truss batch is put through a tight internal quality control process. Laser-guided production lines make production more efficient and increase dimensional accuracy.

Order and delivery to Finland and Russia

When asking for a quote or ordering roof trusses, the following information is needed: - name and contact information of enquirer/orderer – delivery address – delivery time – type of roof trusses – dimensions of roof trusses – gradient of roof – type of eaves – spacing between roof trusses – roof material – number of roof trusses - Delivery - Delivery times during the summer are 4–5 weeks from placing the order, 1–2 weeks in winter. In conjunction with the roof truss delivery, you can purchase any sawn timber that you may need for construction. They will be delivered together with the roof trusses. The roof trusses will be delivered in appropriate trucks directly to the construction site or other location accessible by semi-trailer as specified by the buyer. The truck has a crane for unloading the frames to a distance of about 10 m from the delivery vehicle.
